Movies Called Noir!
A couple of movies that some of you reading this might find of interest:
1. He Ran All The Way - John Garfield & Shelley Winters
A paranoid hoodlum kills a policeman and then holds a family
hostage in their apartment. A man, his wife, daughter and young son.
What an ending they gave this one!
2. He Walked By Night - Richard Basehart & Jack Webb
A burglar kills a Los Angeles policeman and sets off a manhunt.
This one has quite a few scenes of 'noirage' and then some.
And check out what noir puppy dog does to get what he wants.
Someone wears out his shoes searching and searching.
